WASHINGTON- Congressman Terry (R-NE) has voted to keep some of the world’s most dangerous terrorists off of planes and to deny them immigration benefits. Terry voted for the Homeland Security Appropriations FY 2010, H.R. 2892.
“A Pentagon report indicates that many detainees released from Guantanamo Bay in the past have most likely returned to their extremist ways,” said Congressman Terry. “Closing Gitmo without a clear plan on how to deal with theses detainees puts our society, our country and our world in grave danger. This bill will at least prevent some of the world’s most dangerous terrorists from getting on a plane, and from obtaining immigration benefits.”
