The Employee Free Choice Act takes away the right of a secret ballot and mandates binding arbitration on unions and employers that fail to reach an agreement.

Eliminating the secret ballot makes workers vulnerable to intimidation, harassment and threats on the job. Under the Employee Free Choice Act unions would be certified as soon as a simple majority of workers have signed on.  Forced arbitration will lead to government take over of daily operations. I am gravely concerned about this increased role government will have in controlling employment in private businesses.

A better option is to review the National Labor Relations Board laws and provide harsher penalties for employees and employers for violations.
